- You can't judge a book by its cover - which is very true.
But you can like one cover version better than another....

The 25th book in
Janet Evanovich's Stephanie Plum series releases in mid November on both sides of the pond. The
US cover is on the left and the
UK cover is on the right. Now, I must admit, I got to about 13 and found them to be getting repetitive. That being said, this is a really popular, light-hearted series that has many loyal followers. The colour tone is similar in both covers. The US look matches the style of previous covers - bold words on a coloured background. The UK cover seems to promise a different read than you might be expecting. More serious than the series actually is. Hmm, I'm not keen on either cover, but guess I'll go with the US cover simply for it's familiarity. What about you? Have you kept up with this series? Any plans to read Look Alive Twenty-Five? Which cover do you prefer?

I think I made it to #3 - ha! However, you are correct that there are many people who love this series and that's a good thing. As for my pick, I'll got with the US cover. It matches the others. And, no, I won't be reading it. LOL
I like the UK cover better. I love the series and the left does look like all the others in the US!
So far US - 2, UK - 1.
I look forward to your review Many Thoughts!
Count me as another that doesn't read them anymore! I wonder how well they have sustained in the UK? Frankly, I was surprised to see there even was a UK edition. Think I would vote for US, as others have said, it matches the series I know.
Holdenj I wonder about that too!
UK wins it. Really dislike ‘no frills’ US cover.
Read the first book in this series & tossed it out. No plans to ever read another one LOL
Icewineanne - yes, the UK cover is better. And if you've read one, you've read them all....
