Over the Counter #413

What book caught my eye this week as it passed over the library counter and under my scanner?  A little something on the side....

100 Side Hustles: Unexpected Ideas for Making Extra Money Without Quitting Your Day Job by Chris Guillebeau.

From Ten Speed Press:

"Best-selling author Chris Guillebeau presents a full-color ideabook featuring 100 stories of regular people launching successful side businesses that almost anyone can do.

This unique guide features the startup stories of regular people launching side businesses that almost anyone can do: an urban tour guide, an artist inspired by maps, a travel site founder, an ice pop maker, a confetti photographer, a group of friends who sell hammocks to support local economies, and many more. Soon you'll find yourself joining the ranks of these innovative entrepreneurs--making money on the side while living your best life."

(Over the Counter is a regular feature at A Bookworm's World. I've sadly come the realization that I cannot physically read every book that catches my interest as it crosses over my counter at the library. But...I can mention them and maybe one of them will catch your eye as well. See if your local library has them on their shelves!)

  1. This book is right up my alley. I’ve worked side hustles all my life, from coding, store surveys, feeding lab mice, enumerator, DRO etc. Would love to be an urban tour guide but would never remember everything LOL
