On the other hand, the open door on the UK cover is visible only at the second look. I won't give a second look to covers that don't attract me in the first place. Besides the typography is too commonplace. Just my humble opinion. <br /><br />violethttp://booksatvioletcrush.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2865574440201600064.post-14525470694085570342015-01-26T09:15:09.366-05:002015-01-26T09:15:09.366-05:00I'm usually in agreement but this time I prefe...I'm usually in agreement but this time I prefer the Cdn cover. I do find the open door & quote from Val McDermid very enticing but I think that the U.K. cover has more of an American feel while the night sky & row houses place the story firmly in the UK.<br />Also, i wish that the Cdn edition had kept the quote by Val McD on the cover, as Stephen King is more of a horror writer.<br />Icewineanne :-)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2865574440201600064.post-20525976039102942482015-01-24T09:37:57.598-05:002015-01-24T09:37:57.598-05:00I like the tag line on the UK cover as well.I like the tag line on the UK cover as well.bermudaonionhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10726401178972099557noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2865574440201600064.post-51555301981739806402015-01-24T08:02:13.856-05:002015-01-24T08:02:13.856-05:00I agree.
